First small screen role came when she filled in suddenly for a part in the mini-series The Martian Chronicles (which her step-father was directing). Won The Look of the Year modeling contest in Toronto while still a teenager. Transferred to UCLA to study acting. In 1996, her guest-starring performance on Due South earned her a Gemini award, Canada's version of the Emmy. She's currently single and lives in LA
