VIN TANNER
(The Sharp-Shooter)
Vin Tanner is an ex-buffalo hunter ("among other things") and the unofficial 'second in command', of the 'Seven'.
Before joining the 'Seven' he worked as a bounty hunter for a while, which left him with a $500 bounty on his own head. The bounty is for a murder in Tuscosa, Texas, where he was framed by a man called Eli Joe.
Vin formed the 'Seven' with Chris, and has a strong friendship with him, although he is friendly with all of them.
Vin spent several years living with a tribe of Native American Indians, where he learnt to be an expert tracker as well as a sharp-shooter!
He has never learnt to read and write and it is a failing he feels strongly about. He has struck up a good friendship with Mary Travis and she is going to teach him.
Vin carries a sawed-off Winchester rifle, and has been known to occassionally play the harmonica or create poetry.
