(This is the personal log of Bryan Stone, project leader of Cyberproject Gamma, now GammaRanger project.
I was sent from Earth, March 16, 2023, after an accident with the Namrock probe caused the crew to be lost to the "Namrock virus." The CyberLoader, coupled with my Filecoin, successfully transformed me into RedJupiter just in time to wage an attack with Balzac Warriors. Unfortunately, the power didn't last long, as I was defeated by Galevan. Meanwhile, two innocent onnlookers, Richard Scott and Laura Mendes, try to ease the pains of me, the fallen soldier.)

LAURA: (Out of breath after running to the nearest phone) The EMS are on their way.
SCOTTIE: Did you tell them where we were?
LAURA: Yeah... You'd think they'd know where Matheson St. is by now.
BRYAN: (groaning while beginning to rouse) ... My head... Where... Where's Galevan?
SCOTTIE: WHO'S Galevan?
LAURA: You mean that big, ugly thing you were just fighting? He escaped out of a wormhole or something.
(EMS vehicles arrive to take Bryan to a hospital. While there, Bryan is watched over by Scottie.)
BRYAN: You know there are lots of nurses here who can watch me...
SCOTTIE: I know. I'm an intern. It's my job. By the way, name's Richie Scott. Everyone calls me Scottie, though.
BRYAN: (offers his Cyber Loader hand) Bryan... Bryan Stone. (They shake hands as Scottie observes his Cyber Loader.)
SCOTTIE: Whoa... Whatever that thing is, it looks bad. I could fix it if you want. (Takes it off) Looks like a quantum energy spectrometer.
BRYAN: You mean you know what that is? I thought I was the only one.
SCOTTIE: Actually, I pieced some info I had back in my house. My dad works at Stone Technologies.
BRYAN: Hmm... Stone Technologies...
(Three new people, one of them Laura, walk in the room.)
LAURA: Bryan? (Looks at bed) Hey, remember me?
BRYAN: Yes I do. You and Scottie saved my life.
SCOTTIE: These are three of my friends. That's Laura Mendes...
(Laura waves.)
That's Eric Moriboshi...(The boy in the green jacket nods)
ERIC: Hey.
SCOTTIE: ... And that's Amy Berry. (the girl in the yellow overalls)
AMY: Hi. So... I'm guessing you're not from here, huh.
(Bryan says nothing.)
(Lord Namrock looks from his ship as Bryan meets the four teens.) NAMROCK: Bryan's new acquaintances... They make me uneasy.
GALEVAN: I recognize two of them, sire. They came to the aid of Bryan when he fought us.
NAMROCK: Yes, I know...
CHOUZO: Another thing, lord. Why did you call us back here?
NAMROCK: It's a principle thing. (Turns toward Chouzo) You can destroy any other human that gets in our way, but Bryan Stone is mine. I would like to come face to face with my creator.
CHOUZO: And what will you do when you see him?
NAMROCK: ... We shall soon see.
(All the underlings turn toward the screen as Bryan is discharged from the hospital. The five are now walking out of the hospital.)
BRYAN: The Balzac will return to stop me, I know it.
SCOTTIE: Hold on for a sec, dude... What's with the "Marked for Death" treatment these guys are giving you anyway?
BRYAN: Even if I did explain it to you, you wouldn't understand half of it.
AMY: Try us.
(Bryan pauses.)
SCOTTIE: You can start with that wrist device I fixed.
BRYAN: I never said it was fixed. But now that you bring it up, I might as well test it.
(Bryan takes an appropriate stance, pulls out his Filecoin, and calls for his Cyber Loader.)
Jupiter file, DOWNLOAD!
(In an instant, Bryan transforms into RedJupiter.)
SCOTTIE: Whoa! So THAT'S what it does.
(The four kids stand and look RedJupiter over in awe.) ALL: Whoa! Amazing! That's cool!
(As they begin to ask Bryan questions, they make their way towards the Scott residence. After making their way to the basement, RedJupiter reverts.)
ERIC: Okay, you heard the questions. Now we want answers. Where did you come from?
LAURA: How did you get here?
SCOTTIE: Why did those guys want to fight you?
AMY: Just what the hell is a Balzac anyway?
BRYAN: I'll try to explain it the best I can.
(Bryan tells the story of the Namrock virus, the failed CyberProject Gamma, and the GammaRanger Project, paying specific attention to the fact that he came from twenty-five years into the future.)
BRYAN: ...and that's basically how I got here and why I came here.
SCOTTIE: Well, at least we know your Cyber Loader works.
BRYAN: Now the hard part. How do I get to Stone Laboratories?
LAURA: Our economics class is going to Stone Labs tomorrow. And Scottie has connections!
SCOTTIE: I'd hardly call my dad a connection.
BRYAN: Well I do remember my father's journals telling of a Mr. Jonathan Scott.
SCOTTIE: That's him, alright.
(Hours later, Namrock turns to his R&D manager, Rhexus, for a game plan.)
NAMROCK: I want to be the first one to get those Coins.
RHEXUS: Why don't you get them now while Bryan and his User friends are asleep?
NAMROCK: Idiot! If you go now, we'll set off alarms. We'll cause attention. And furthermore, we'll lose all access to the Coins!
RHEXUS: I see... We wait?
NAMROCK: Yes. Tomorrow, we shall get those Coins.
(After a night of sinister laughter, there is silence. Bryan and the four students from Tradewinds High are now at Stone Laboratories. Here, the four remaining Filecoins are being held by Jonathan Scott.)
SCOTTIE: (Opening the door) Uh, dad?
DR. SCOTT: Richard! This is a surprise. What brings you here?
SCOTTIE: Dad, this is Bryan Stone. He is Dr. Stone's ... Uhhh...
BRYAN: Brother. Yeah, Dr. Stone is my brother.
DR. SCOTT: I see. So what can I get you?
(Bryan shows the Filecoin to Dr. Scott.)
BRYAN: I'm looking for four coins just like this one.
DR. SCOTT: (thinks for a second) Well, anything for Stone's brother.
SCOTTIE: You mean you'll just give them to us?
DR. SCOTT: On the condition that I get them back in one piece. They're very valuable to our research.
SCOTTIE: No prob, pops.
DR. SCOTT: Don't call me "Pops."
SCOTTIE: Sorry, dad.
(As the team receives the Coins, unknowing to Dr. Scott that he just might have saved the world, Namrock begins to enact his plan of attack.)
NAMROCK: Rhexus, are the Balzac ready?
RHEXUS: What do you think?
NAMROCK: (pauses) Rhexus, are te Balzac ready?
RHEXUS: They're ready. They're more powerful than ever as well.
NAMROCK: (looks over Balzac wave) Deploy them now!
(The Balzac are sent to Earth, right in front to Stone Labs as the guys are conversing.)
LAURA: What do you need the Filecoins for anyway? I mean, it's not like we're going to use them.
BRYAN: That's the funny thing about the future. It is nothing more than uncertainty.
ERIC: And speaking of which...
(The group looks up at the sky as Balzac surround them.)
AMY: I suppose these are Balzac?
BRYAN: Affirmative.
(Bryan engages into an unmorphed battle with the Balzac. The others prepare to engage them, when Bryan stops them.)
BRYAN: Wait a second. We're not thinking. They're not human. They're stronger.
SCOTTIE: What are you driving at, Bryan?
BRYAN: Each of you take a Filecoin.
(Each of them take their respective Coin as Bryan opens his duffel bag to reveal four more Cyber Loaders.)
Now take these. Put the Coins into the slot on my cue.
(The team lines up.)
BRYAN: Alright guys, let's lock and upload!
(The others nod.)
Now... JUPITER!
SCOTTIE: NEPTUNE!
ERIC: MARS!
AMY: VENUS!
LAURA: MERCURY!
ALL: Ranger file, DOWNLOAD!
(This time, all five transform and the Cyberspace Task Force GammaRanger is complete.)
REDJUPITER: RedJupiter Ranger file, ready!
BLUENEPTUNE: BlueNeptune Ranger file, ready!
GREENMARS: GreenMars Ranger file, ready!
YELLOWVENUS: YellowVenus Ranger file, ready!
AQUAMERCURY: AquaMercury Ranger file, ready!
ALL: Cyberspace Task Force GammaRanger ready!
REDJUPITER: Okay guys, whatever you do, don't let them get into the lab... Got it?
BLUENEPTUNE: No problem!
AQUAMERCURY: I still don't believe what's happening!
YELLOWVENUS: Well, believe it, short stuff.
GREENMARS: Let's get'em Rangers!
(The Rangers begin to fight the Balzac and they are winning. The Balzac, after a severe thrashing, retire to the Spacebase as an image appears in the sky.)
NAMROCK: Having fun yet?
REDJUPITER: Namrock! You're next!
NAMROCK: As much as I'd like to hear that...I have to run. I look forward to our next battle. (fading) And there will be a next time....
REDJUPITER: We'll be ready.
(Back at the basement, the Rangers, with their helmets off, rest after a battle well fought.)
BRYAN: I thought I'd never find my team. I've found more than that in you four.
ALL: No problem...
(buzzer sounds from Bryan's Cyber Loader screen.)
KOIKE: Congratulations, Bryan... And the GammaRangers, as well. I couldn't think of a better use of the power of the twentieth-century. However, do not think that this is the last that you've heard of Namrock.
BRYAN: I know...
AMY: As long as the GammaRangers are here, you'll always have the edge, Koike.
KOIKE: Thank you, Miss Berry. (Out)
ERIC: Come on guys, we've got a lot of talking to do to this guy. Anyone up for pizza?
(After the Rangers' first victory, Namrock discusses his next course of action.)
NAMROCK: Rhexus, has development on our new BetaMonsters begun?
RHEXUS: Yes, my liege. Soon, you will have an index of creatures to choose from. Now that the Rangers have their powers, you need something as strong as they are.
NAMROCK: Stronger, Rhexus... And there will be the day when I get my revenge on the Users. Someday....
