(This is the personal jounal of Bryan Stone, leader of Cyberspace Task Force GammaRanger, for June 16, 1998:
After what seemed to be the taste of things to come by a machine called "Daemon Navigator," the Rangers took a moment to reflect. Sei was returned to the supercomputer at Gammaproject HQ, as was the SkyStation for repairs. Amy, Scottie, and Eric returned to their work, but soon stopped after learning of the attack by the pilots of the Navigator, the DaemonRangers. And the story continues...
(The scene: the SkyStation. The Rangers are discussing the obvious situation.)
Bryan: So if we download Sei too soon, we might lose her as well as the GridRanger powers.
Laura: But if we download her too late, we run the risk of losing everything else.
Scottie: I guess it's our move now. (a beeping noise is heard from the distance)
Amy: Bryan... You better look at this.
(All the Rangers rush to the window to see what was going on.)
Bryan: There it is. Can you get a fix, Laura?
Laura: The Navigator's a lot like our ship. Im transferring the stats to Amy for printing.
Amy: (printing out the document Laura created) The Daemon Navigator. A negative energy browser ship created and powered by the Earth's own natural forces.
Bryan: Any weaknesses?
Amy: Not yet.
(Bryan stares off into the distace as the Navigator enters Userspace. Cut to the ground as Eddie and his friends are going home.)
Galevan's voice: Where do you think YOU'RE going?
Eddie: Home?
Galevan's voice: I'm afraid walking from a battle is not that easy.
Spoony: Now you're being totally screwed.
Galevan's voice: Am I? Lokk ahead of you.
(The kids see the Station.)
Sara: Whoa... Talk about huge.
(Jill runs to catch up with the others after finding Scottie's backpack.)
Jill: What's going on?
Eddie: The Station... I thought we got rid of it.
Galevan's voice: This is indeed bad news. You know what to do.
(Cut to Galevan aboard the Satellite, talking to Lord Namrock.)
They don't have a clue.
Namrock: Good. Keep it that way.
Rhexus: The Daemon Navigator is ready to transform.
Namrock: Okay. Now we wait for our commander to give the word.
DaemonRock: (over a DWC) We're ready, sire.
(Cut to the Daemon Navigator, which is transforming into a giant robot, Dynavigator. The Rangers look from the SkyStation.)
Eric: This is bad.
Amy: It gets worse. I'm getting a voice message.
Bryan: What is it? (activates message)
DaemonRock: GammaRangers! I'm afraid it's time to end your tyranny. Prepare to die!
Scottie: What the hell?
Bryan: We'll have to figure that out later. Right now, we have to fight defensively.
Laura: (grabbing her helmet) All right! Mega D time!
(The Rangers grab their helmets as they head for their DriverMechs.)
RedJupiter: Upload MegaDriver sequence!
(The SkyStation comes apart and reforms into the MegaDriver.)
Rangers: MegaDriver ready!
(Cut to the Dynavigator cockpit.)
DaemonAir: They have a giant robot of their own!
DaemonRock: Galevan, what do we do?
Galevan: Let's give them more than what they bargained for! Go down to the surface and attack them! DaemonRock, stay here and pilot the Dynavigator.
(The DaemonRangers head for the surface to hopefully fight the GammaRangers.)
YellowVenus: The DaemonRangers are on the ground!
BlueNeptune: We have to head them off before they can get anywhere.
RedJupiter: Like...
GreenMars: I don't know... Here?!
RedJupiter: Good point.
(The Rangers look down as the DaemonRangers prepare to head for the MegaDriver.)
Guys, head down there and stop them! Remember, the key phrase is "defensive battle".
AquaMercury: Got it! Let's move!
(The Rangers go down to the ground while Galevan in Dynavigator fights RedJupiter in MegaDriver.)
RedJupiter: Koike, I need two things.
Koike: Go ahead, Stone.
RedJupiter: First things first. I want MegaDriver to copy my exact moves.
Koike: (a few keystrokes later) Done. And second.
RedJupiter: My friends are in severe danger. I believe it is in their best interests to release Sei from suspension.
Koike: Are you sure? Once I release her, I cannot bring her back for fear of erasure.
RedJupiter: It is the only way, lieutenant.
Koike: If that is the case... Request granted. (a few keystrokes later) She should appear in your cockpit shortly.
RedJupiter: Thank you.
(Meanwhile, on the ground...)
DaemonRock: Charge the robot!
DaemonWater: What are you, crazy? We can't possibly take something like that!
DaemonFire: I got an even better idea. Daemon Flame Thrower, download!
(Daemon Flame Thrower forms in his hand.)

(Four lasers shoot his hand.)
GreenMars: I don't think you're going to tamper with our machine!
YellowVenus: Remember what Bryan said; inflict as least damage as possible.
AquaMercury: And if they harm us?
BlueNeptune: Nothing changes. Got that?
(The DaemonRangers begin to charge. The GammaRangers begin to fight a defensive battle. The Gammas start to back down.)
AquaMercury: RedJupiter, we can't hold out any longer!
(Back inside MegaDriver, while it is fighting Dynavigator.)
RedJupiter: Sei, that's your cue!
Sei: (While putting on her helmet) No problem.
(GridRanger heads down to the battlefield with a new GridBuckler.)
GridRanger: Maybe you guys need a little shelter. Gridbuckler Defender download!
(The shield on GridRanger's Gridbuckler enlarges to accomodate the Rangers' defense. She uses it to hold back the DaemonRangers.)
DaemonRock: That's it! Shield or no shield! We have enough energy for one full blast.
DaemonAir: Then let's do it!
DaemonFire: Daemon Flame Thrower download!
DaemonAir: Daemon Wind Turbine download!
DaemonWater: Daemon Hydro Cannon download!
DaemonRock: Daemon Rock Crusher download!
(Their respective weapons form and fire at the Rangers and the Megadriver, severely knocking them off course. Cut to the Mega D Cockpit!)
RedJupiter: I'm losing power at an exponential rate!
Galevan: (in Dynavigator cockpit) This show is over! Say "goodbye," Gamma User!
RedJupiter: It's not over yet! Upload flying DriverShield attack!
(MegaDriver throws his shield like a flying discus. The Dynavigator is felled.)
Galevan: Fall back!
DaemonRock: You'll pay for this insult! I'll be back.
(DaemonRanger escapes.)
RedJupiter: We need to regroup as well. Rangers, evacuate to Neptune's house!
(The Rangers go back to the house. Cut to the Satellite. Balzac are going all over the place trying to comfort the battle-weary DaemonRangers.)
Chouzo: There. That should do it. Anything else?
Spoony: How 'bout some more sandwiches?
Rhexus: Ah. A sandwich file?
Spoony: I don't want a file! I want a real sandwich!
Namrock: QUIET THE LOT OF YOU!
Eddie: They got away again. They won't outlive the next battle, though.
Galevan: They better not.
Namrock: Good... Go home until the next time I need you. And remember, no one is to know about your powers, understand?
(Eddie and the others comply. They go down to their regular lives. Cut to Scottie's family room, where the six Rangers are having an emergency meeting.)
Scottie: (on the phone) We were there, but we thought you already left. Now I think it's too late for our project!
Eddie: (on the other end) It's okay. Listen, I've talked with Principal Mathewson and Principal Ortega. They'll count our hours thus far so we'll be able to graduate on Friday.
Scottie: That's great! I'll talk to ya later!
Eddie: Okay. Bye. (hangs up. Cut back to Scottie.)
Eric: What did Eddie say?
Scottie: We're graduating!
Eric: Great! (turns to Bryan) So Bryan, how's Mega-D?
Bryan: His energy is drastically low. I could have finished the Dynavigator back there though.
Sei: No. You did the right thing. Any longer would have rendered MegaDriver beyond repair.
Amy: Who are those DaemonRangers anyway?
Laura: Yeah. All we know for sure is that they're human.
Eric: It's weird. I heard a voice and I thought... (the dorbell interrupts)
Scottie: I'll get it.
(Scottie goes over to the door and opens it. It is Jill, holding Scottie's backpack.)
Jill: Scottie?
Scottie: Jill! Hey, you found my backpack!
Jill: Yeah. You left it in the park.
Scottie: I'm always dropping these things. (laughs) You want a drink?
Jill: Sure. (enters and goes into the kitchen with Scottie.)
Scottie: I'll be right back. (goes back into the family room)
Eric: Jill's here?
Scottie: Yeah. I offered her a drink. I was being a gentleman. Anyway, what were we saying?
Eric: The voice. It sounded familiar. (CyberLoader goes off)
Scottie: (checks his Loader) Balzac alert. No doubt the DaemonRangers trying to lure us into another attack.
Bryan: We better check it out anyway. Sei, you gonna be all right?
Sei: I am a little, to use one of Richard's phrases, winded, but I think I can manage.
Laura: Wait, Jill's still in the kitchen.
(Yes, Laura. Jill is still in the kitchen. And she just heard everything that you guys said.)
Jill: It's them. They're the GammaRangers?!
(Suddenly, the kitchen door opens.)
Scottie! Eric! Uh, I was waiting for you two. Can we talk about something? It's important.
Eric: I wish we could, but we have something important to take care of.
Scottie: Yeah. Eric, get the lady a drink and then take her home. Catch up wtih us later.
Eric: No problem. Come on, Jill.
Jill: Umm... okay.
(Eric takes Jill to his car and proceeds to take her home, unknowing to him that Jill carries the biggest secret of his life, their identities as GammaRanger. Cut to in front of Jill's house.)
Eric: I'll see you tomorrow?
Jill: (to herself) That's it. I have to tell him.
Eric: (as Jill departs) Tell me what?
Jill: Eric, I don't know exactly how to tell you this, but your friends are in danger. Hurry.
(Eric, not quite sure of what just happened, zooms to the site of the battle, already in progress.)
RedJupiter: (Talking while fighting) Hmm... something about this doesn't smell right.
AquaMercury: You're telling me. I mean, why would Balzac just appear out of thin air?
GreenMars: (from the distance) 'Cause it's a trap!
(The Rangers then look up to see Daemon Navigator. It has a new, more powerful cannon aimed directly at the Rangers!)
How will this turgent saga end? You'll have to wait until the next episode. So just send me something in the meantime. But this I promise, after data20, the GammaRangers will have never been stronger....
