The light shines through my fragile shell
Waking me from confusing dreams
Of love lost and the drifting of leaves
Within my mind they fall away
I push towards freedom seeking life
I throw away those wretched dreams
Finding myself, the shell cracks wide
I squint and stand and spread my wings
