Kes was born on the devasted Ocampa homeworld, underground in the haven created for her people by the caretaker.
Kes was captured by the Kazon-Ogla, but with the help of Voyager and Neelix, she was rescued.
She currently assists the holographic Doctor in Sickbay as his nurse. Kes also runs a hydroponics bay where she grow fresh vegetables.
She has currently been going out with Neelix.
Unfortunately her people only has a lifespan of 9 years.
She is under the guidance of Tuvok, who is tutoring her in her telepathic abilities.
Kes was first seen in the "Caretaker".
