Brion Barriman

Son of Gerard

Colours, black and grey, wears black. Symbol, a grey mast on a black background

I looked at Brion's Trump and smiled. I liked him, and if his card was mixed up in this, it must be easier than I thought. Strength ought to solve it, or just believing in what I was doing, just as he does.

A permanent grin attached to an honest young man with a friendly attitude. Nothing could be more deadly. A typical Brion quote is, "Yes, we are travelling to our certain death, so what?" or, "Yis, whare ei com fraam, vowils are aptienel."
Brion is an awful optimist, and survived the wrath of a king over that, and the certain death episode, by smiling openly and honestly and telling the truth. Not liking him is rather like not liking a huge but cute puppy.
He bears the sword Aramwir, a blade cast under the sea, in a reflection of the Pattern in Rebma, except when he lends it to somebody, or loses it, or does whatever it is that ludicrously happy twenty-year old demi-deities generally do with swords. Moradin and Brion do not get along, as Moradin married Bronwyn, Brion's girlfriend, after getting her pregnant.
Brion is believed to be the son of Gerard, and has inherited his father's muscles, but one presumes he has his mother's brains.
He is married to a lady from his Shadow-world, a high grav place called Anvhar. His accent is hard to understand, and in a crisis he tends to talk in glottal stops instead. He has no wishes except to have a good time, and do good. Frightening.

His curse, given by Crowley: "Brion, you shall learn there is no true happiness where there is suspicion."
