Deirdre was the mother of William, much to the disgust of those in the know. She fell into the Abyss along with Brand, and was possessed by Crowley, who used her rotting body in an assassination attempt on Jessica. She killed Gelt Carl, and was destroyed in doing so, although Gelt Carl was able to return to life.
