My real name is Erica, I am 20 years old and living in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Aside from Ambulance work, I spend much of my time volunteering with organisations such as St. John Ambulance, the OSPCA (Ontario Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), several small environmental groups (Tree planters and garbage clean-ups)and the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism).
I am also a co-ordinateur of The Knight March Role-Playing Convention held in Cobourg Ontario every March. I am the president and founder of The Realms of Fahr Roleplayers and am involved in several RPG groups. In my spare time (what spare time?) I design amateur web pages, write fantasy, draw, paint and sculpt.
One of my loves of life are the Arts and though they have been neglected over the past year due to my commitment to college, I intend to get back to the music and drama that I sorely miss.I have recently joined the Scarborough Community Band where I am playing Tuba. I am an amateur actress but have had bit parts in several movies and television shows. On stage I have held roles in musicals, plays, skits and their likes.
My life as a musician will show that I am no stranger to the arts, my primary instrument is the Tuba (laugh if you must) I have come to love this gentle giant for its deep voice that is known to all classical musicians as an underlying sound on which their music flaunts and plays. (In other words, what is a melody without its harminous bass line?). My other instruments of proficiency include, the trumpet, baritone, trombone (to some extent), tympanies(I can't spell), drums, bells and auxillary percussion. I tried to play reeded instruments to no avail...
Now, I am a graduate of the E.M.C.A. program, and have passes the Ministry of Health E.M.C.A. exam and in search of ministry employment. And there you have it folks, the short and sweet biography of me, Newmedic.
