Millennium: 'Closure'

Frank is worried when Agent Hollis takes on a collection of very violent cases, around the time of the anniversary of her sister's murder. Meanwhile, a dangerous criminal is on the loose.

This is the first episode showcasing Klea Scott's Hollis, and it's not bad. Admittedly the subject matter isn't particularly Millennium, but it's a powerful story, and well acted by those involved, especially Scott. The main problem is the same one that seems to be afflicting the series this season: there is not enough story to keep viewer interest for 45 minutes, and the pacing is very slow. The best part of it is the end sequence when Hollis proves to be more than adept at looking after herself against a violent criminal, from whom she tries to get answers to why men like him do the things they do. In a way, her course of action is similar to Frank's when Catherine was abducted, and it will be interesting to see how much like her new mentor she actually is.
