Dear Sir,
I Hereby testify thats as leader of 'Bloody Idul Fitri Task Force' and 'Al-Fatah Task Force' for all the Muslim in Maluku, I have never heard about incident of forced Christianisation happening in Maluku Province (since the beginning of the violence on 19th January 1999 till the present time).
If any such event had occured I would have been immediately informed as the leader of all the Muslim communities who live in this province.
I have never received invormation of this nature.
The situation in Maluku remains volatile, therefore,it is imperative that any rep[orting on the Human Rights situation is based only on factual and verifiable information. There has been much misinformation circulated since the start of the conflict, and this information can lead to renewed violence.
As a Muslim leader of Al-Fatah, Ambon, I can state we have never asked for help from outsiders for the Muslim community of Ambon. Laskar Jihad has come by their own initiative and with their own agenda. They have never coordinate any of their activity with Al-Fatah mosque and the Muslim community.
