Superman @ Project Infinity MUX
Superman(tm) is a Trademark of DCComics(c). The use of his
character on PIMUX is simply an expression of my love for this
character, and truly hope that the DC folks don't mind. As a
side-note, Kal -s considered Canon until October 1, 1997. He then
goes off on a tangent similar to that seen in his second experience
with Waverider in the Armageddon 2001 series. The stuff that follows
is based soley on RP at PIMUX, and thus has nothing to do with the
present Superman, or his current dealings.
What's Happened
The story of Clark's life after entering the portal is a long one,
longer than I really have the time or energy to write... sixs months
worth of roleplay is a hard thing to simply just jump into and write,
unless you have zero time on your hands, and just /like/ wasting it.
So, I'll give you the short, sweet, explainatory version.
1) Superman arrives in Beacon Harbor, is disgusted by what he
sees.
2) Superman runs into Darkstorm, Merlin, and a few others. Creates
a loose friendship with them.
3) Superman drops the black costume for his more traditional
costume, and heads full-time into being a hero for BH. Does some
free-lance writing for the Daily Star, simply to make ends meet.
Picks up the identity 'Clark Kent' for this.
4) Superman calls a press conference, going public with his intent
to stamp out the Crimelords (stupid move, but purely IC)
5) Hit made on Clark, Daily Star destroyed... 'Clark' ID dies...
6) Superman declares all-out war on the Crimelords when Vinny sets
up a hit, killing several hero metahumans. Gives police a severe hard
time, shuts down a few drug rings, places an ultimatum on the door of
City Hall...
7) Bomb placed in a BH bank. Turns out to be a trap, and when it
goes off, killing a large number of people, the blame is placed on
Superman. Superman considered a "Most Wanted" felon, chared with
murder, larcony, and vandalism.
8) New metahuman shows up, Kenneth (new ID given to Superman by a
man only known as 'The Chief'). Is found unconscious on the floor of
an important official's house (after a fight with Selene). Taken into
custody by police, but set free when no charges were pressed.
9) Kenneth meets up with Cassandra Torres (Angel), and through a
series of meetings reveals to her his identity. They strike up a
close friendship, and she mentions her new assignment to "The
Knights"
10) The government metahuman team, "The Knights," (funded by a
Crimelord) admit a new member, whose identity is only known as
'Shield'. Shield and the Knights do bunches of good deeds.
What Will Happen (?)
This is all still quite up in the air... although I have a lot
planned in store for Superman.
1) A mega-brawl bewteen myself and two of Vinny's super-goons,
Juggernaut and Hulk. Obviously, I'm going to get my tail whooped.
2) The discovery of my current identity as Shield... thus placing
the whole idea of Crimelord-funded teams in jeapardy, or clearing
Superman's name... since when did a felon apply for a job as a
Governmenr agent? Wait...
3) Eventually an all-out war with some Crimelord that ends up
getting Superman killed... yes.. killed. Will he come back? Who
knows...
