Financing of SADAMSA
The commitee decided at formation not to handle any money.
This removes the risk of the commitee being tarnished in any way. Our attorneys
gave us he use of their trust account as well as an accountant to manage the account.
Our target is R200000 and we are presently at about R50000 and growing steadily. Most
contributions have been made by students and interns with the average donation being
R250. All remaining money will be refunded to the contributers on a pro rata basis so
please keep your deposit slip. All incidental expences such as phone calls and photostats
have come out of individual commitee members pockets. We are at present looking for
sponsors for these expences as they cannot be carried indefinatly by the commitee
especially with the increadable growth of the commitee's activities.
