Welcome to this unofficial page of Leones del Caracas, the most glorious team, with oldest tradition and greatest number of fans in Venezuela.
As you can see, well known bigleaguers have played in our winter team: The Big Cat Galarraga (Montreal Expos), Omar Vizquel (Cleveland Indians), Bob Abreu (Filis), Ugueth Urbina (Boston Red Sox). A huge team Don't you think? Even PETE ROSE, The legend, played with us in 1967 !! Amazing!
We've got a great rivalry against "MAGALLANES" (Yuck!), The WORST TEAM in Venezuela. They play very bad, hardly ever can defeat Caracas, they're mean persons, They're used to dirty tricks, and they have not great bigleaguers such as we have.
They're specialist in pour beer to the attendance at Stadium
"Universitario" in Caracas, they have been called the HOOLIGANS of Winter Baseball!
