I don't know anything
about Art and I didn't took any courses of it but I know how to appreciate
it. I draw, I have high interest in photography, and I can write calligraphy,
but I didn't study the history of Arts and I don't know the theories of
appreciating it, but I think I have a theory of myself, hope that I can
share with you.
I think Arts is a kind of
energy, and the energy tends to interact with us, and it make us feel nice
and passionate. It make us feel very touched and it make us feel that our
blood is flowing very fast inside us. And when we see an art piece, the
energy tends to shift to the person and make them feel nice. Basically,
art deals with interpersonal communication.
I think an art piece must
not be too idealise, when it's too idealised, it tend to make us feel very
tense and not comfortable. I like those that are not clear, and those that
have some improperness is a good art. Although we are not perfect, but
Arts gave us perfection and the perfection came from the imperfectness.
I like an art piece to have
high contrast color, and by observing the drawing, I feel very passion.
I think an art piece need to give the viewer a sense of passion and feeling,
and not run away from the original meaning of the artist. I don't like
drawings or art work to be very "numb" (sometimes, feelings are hard to
describe ^_^). I like picasso, I like blue, I like the sky, the sea, the
wind, the clouds, the grass, and all the things in the world. Everything
is art, nothing can exclude us from art, unless your are a numb and rational
person.
Every art must have a philosophy,
I philosophy that describe a person's feeling, its a rather "self" stuff.
Everything has to do with self, even feeling, it's more close to Existensialism,
a thing that sometimes can only know by itself. An art is not just for
beautiness, its for telling people how you feel; it is to express one self,
to be your own self and searching for own self.
I have not much to sat about
it, hopefully I will add some later. My favorite is oil painting, because
only from those art piece can I see power, energy, and that energy reacts
with me easily.
