A Man in the Wrong Time

I am a lonely cowboy,
Who rides the plains searching,
But never finding.

I am the adventurer of the American Frontier,
Who looks for that new land for others,
Yet really wanting to be alone.

I am the sea explorer,
Conquering the sea on high,
But never finding what he really seeks.

I am the knight,
Living a life of chivalry and honor,
Yet needing just one more deed.

I am the dark-rider of the middle ages,
Riding to find another battle to fight,
But never finding the cause.

I am the man of today,
Seeking the adventures and battles and honor of the past,
But never finding quest.
I am a man in the wrong time.
