Wishes Of The Blackened Sands

Wishes Of The Blackened Sands

Last days,
Century amassed, in my seas
Wilder prophecy stands in noble drawings
Off the constant voices,
placing pieces of the plan through
My lethargic skin
No running lines, no years
to channel pain
A ghostly whimper by my side
And see the shadows dragged
See the blackened faces looking back
And that streak...
that haunting streak of someone
Running
And see the shadows follow
See the sleeping tossers' dream
Leading on...

Last days,
I wish for my smile
That the seas will rise
and see no tide
The sound of fallen sands
and the joy of leaving them
That my hands will take
away the world but not My world
and watch the skies looking away
for once
That in the solitary tower
That flickering wicker
has no life
Nor that occasional Storm
not washing down, and
those teary eyes
bring in another light !
