The apostle Paul wrote, " I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek." "For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith." (Romans Ch.1: 16-17). God's men are not ashamed of the revelation God has given them and the saints receiving that revelation are not ashamed of receiving the message with the power of God.
The Bible tells us, "He that hungers and thirsts for righteousness shall be filled". Notice the scriptures didn't say, " May be filled". "Shall be filled" is used. Every hungry soul seeking God finds the answer. No one misses the mark. Thirsty souls know when the thirst is quenched. When men of God tell us the truth, that truth satisfies the hungry person. There is no getting around those words of truth. Could you bypass the words of Jesus, Moses, Paul, Jeremiah, or any man sent from God? We don't have to be fooled. The truth brings forth the fruit.
There are men of God today. We need to know them for the church needs healing. The Bible tells us to know them who labor among you and esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. If you want to be healed, know them whom God has sent.
Give honour to whom honour is due. George C. Clark was a man sent by God. The witness was in the truths God gave him and the anointing that went before him. His life was given to the work of God. If you were seeking the will of God, George C. Clark would be pointing the way.
Pray that God will send you a shepherd. God will give you the experience of meeting a man sent from God. Such was the case for me. The first time I met George C. Clark, I knew he told me the truth. The truth lifts burdens. My search for spiritual help was answered. The door of hidden treasures had been opened for me. This opportunity gave abundant life to my hungry soul.
Through twenty-six years of being blessed by the work of the man of God, George C. Clark, I have had the grace to grow in the knowledge in the Kingdom of God. I had a good teacher and friend. I was blessed to be under the guidance of the ministry of truth. The peace to learn from each experience. The shepherd to keep the wolves away. The tests came but God protected with his man on the job.
I feel sad for many saints who do not know their shepherd's voice. I see the pain they suffer for lack of understanding the will of God. God's voice can be heard through the minister God has sent. You can know that voice too. The shepherd teaches us to discern the voice of God. He isn't self seeking. God loves his sheep.
Remember, there is healing in the truth. The point of seeking is to obtain answers. Be willing to obey the answers and great joy will be yours. Also, the fellowship of being misunderstood. The saints that love the truth are often not understood. Don't think it strange.
My schooling was with much faith, testimonies, love, and Bible knowledge. The tract ministry of George C. Clark was full of God-given messages. Each tract and every saint had a special place in my life. You can read these messages on our web-sites at http://www.pioneertract.com or http://www.isaiah58.com .
I was blessed with the rare event of observing the training of another minister of God, John David Clark Sr. From the start, you knew John was being guided by the hand of God. John was more a listener. The spirit of God has a settling effect. We become followers first, learning the ways of the spirit of God. John's daddy was an excellent teacher. Slowly John began to testify and sing songs he had written. Then, God began to reveal himself to John. You knew the messages were from God. The holy Ghost would bless his people and set the captive free. The burdens would be lifted.
During spiritual warfare, God would prove his apprentice by testing what direction his strength would be sought. Time and time again, John would pass each trial. The right answer would heal the situation or sometimes not answering at all would heal the situation. John's daddy was solid and John was and is as solid. That is God's man. Making the judgment that pleased God not seeking the approval of men. If we seek the honour of men, the honour of God will be missed.
When your life is the life of the spirit of God, your presence will do much for wounded souls. That's why I said, " Saying nothing would be an answer". Such is the life of a true man from God.
I witnessed the process of God's school for over ten years. The coming years would bring the passing of a pastor. To me, it was more than the word "Pastor". The true meaning of pastor would explain all the substance of the man. If you have an experience of knowing God or learning God, then you know what I am saying concerning a pastor. The experience brings an inside track, feelings from the heart, known to the soul on the receiving end.
I write this letter for future blessings on those who will travel this road of holiness. There will be others to experience the obedience of God's grace. The blessed will understand.
Now, even in death, a pastor is a shepherd. His words still calm the troubled soul and give direction. God's voice never dies and the shepherd's voice still rings clear and true, because God was the source of the eternal words.
You see, I was the witness of a double portion, "Two pastors". "I will bless your going and your coming", said the prophet of God. The blessings of Abraham will be yours in obedience to his commandments, "Those that bless you will be blessed and those that curse you will be cursed". If you have eyes to see, you know what I am saying and words can't fulfill the joy of being under the anointed ministry. I haven't seen or it isn't a common thing today to be blessed outside the camp of God. Many claim this blessing but have fallen short of the glory of God. But be of good cheer, God has not lost any strength.
Early in my walk with God, a man asked me this question, "What will you do after George C. Clark dies"? I responded, "God will give us another pastor". I want you to know, John David Clark Sr. wasn't born again during this time and it was probably about ten years before John Clark came on the scene. The man was implying, "You are just following a man". Have you ever had someone to say that to you? Yes, we are following a man, but what kind of man? Many people follow men, but "Is the man you are following sent from God"? Remember God tries the righteous. The road of true holiness will be full of detours. Do not listen to them. You will see many wrecks by the wayside, continue your journey to Canaan's land.
John David Clark is alive and well today. Pastor John is aware that God will only choose a few good men for his work. That is great, because we aren't depending on numbers and neither is God. If you are stirred by these words, seek God. The LORD will send you a pastor after His heart. He did for me and for a few others with us. God will supply the need, if "We do his will".
