Welcome to the animal corner of Claire's mind. Here
you will see the world's most excitable dog, Yogi,
and my somewhat psychotic and always amusing guinea
pig, Beezus. Also, a very good friend of mine,
Beatrice the beautiful orange cat, has recently come
to our home to rest, heal, and lap up attention.

My oldest pet, this short haired guinea is going on
three years. He is white with a large patch of dark
brown covering one eye and a large section of his
top half. He is obsessive about carrots, and loves
attention (or course). When he was a baby, he became
epyleptic, which he has since outgrown. He was hailed
as "one of the best guineas" his vet had ever seen.
What a guy!
This part Lasa, part Chitsu furry dog is one of my
mom's friends...He is incredibly neurotic and
hyperactive, with a desperate need to be loved,
loved, and loved! He gets confused when it's not
just him, my mom's other dog Alexei, and my mom.
But, if it's snowing out, he couldn't be
happier than when his butt is covered in snow on
our back deck.
Bea kitty has just recently come to us, but we lived
together briefly at college, and she has always been
in my heart. She has a very large family of friends
that care about her. Bea was an outdoor cat who grew
up on her own on the campus of Adrian College. But,
after a nasty accident, she is now recouperating and
will only be outside with me and a leash! She is
happy with Matt and myself, and loves to be
scratched.....Her vet remarked on how immaculate she is,
and, indeed, she prides herself on making herself
beautiful.
