Truth be told, there were only two Barge Bros musicians:

  • Jerry Welch, the Barge Tenor, who also played bass guitar for the group

  • Cheryl Koonce, the Barge SISTER! who played piano and put up with our singing.

    That being said, we would like to give honorable mention as a Barge Brother Musician to Rick Thompson, now Cheryl's husband. Had he been there for the times of greatness, he would surely have been our drummer.
