International Human Rights

I became interested in studying human rights through my participation in the North Dakota State University (NDSU) Scholars Program. For a semester paper, I chose to address the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I discussed why the declaration had become necessary, what specific rights it declared universal, and some of the issues associated with their protection on an international level. A final edition of the paper is in progress, and will be included here when it has been finished.
