Cameron, Stella - MORE AND MORE (Warner - 4/99) (4) MORE AND MORE mixes mystery and intrigue with romance, resulting in a book I enjoyed reading very much. From the beginning, Ross and Finch were a couple to me, and it was entertaining to watch their relationship grow. They find it difficult to keep their hands off each other; indeed, the love scenes in this book are some of the most sensual, unconsummated scenes I've ever read. The addition of Sir Septimus Spivy, a cranky ghost who is determined to clear all boarders out of 7 Mayfair Square, floor-by-floor, is an added treat. MORE AND MORE kept me turning the pages at a fast pace, and I look forward to reading the next book in the Mayfair Square series. ~Pat Cavender for Bookbug on the Web

Cameron, Stella - WISH CLUB, THE (Warner - 1998) (4) After a lengthy separation, the two are reunited and their feelings for each other have deepened with time. However, the viscount wants his son firmly established in society; there can never be any thought of marriage between Max and Kirsty. Max's father matches him up with Lady Hermoine, the niece of a countess, but Hermoine is a scheming vamp. Our hero is reluctant to rush into matrimony or defy his father's wishes. Max's mind is always on Kirsty, and in order to keep her by his side, he hires her as his assistant. She is a bright young woman, afterall, and certainly capable of attending to matters of his estate. But being near her—and not being able to have her—proves to be torture. He becomes a sullen man, prone to excessive drinking and bouts of temper—torn between desire and duty. And Kirsty is caught between two worlds: Max's aristocratic circle and her life as a commoner. The position she takes soon alienates her family and puts her reputation in question. What price must they pay for love? Stella Cameron has taken a familiar plot and put her unique mark on it, delivering excellent prose, interesting characters, and those wickedly sexy scenes we've come to expect from her. THE WISH CLUB concludes the popular Rossmara series. ~June Folk for Bookbug on the Web
