Here are some episodes that Annette uses in her classroom when she teaches Math!

I showed both John Wayne episodes, "Lucy Visits Graumann's" and "Lucy and John Wayne", in my classroom. I had my students keep track of how many sets of footprints John Wayne had to make.

In "Lucy Does the Tango", Lucy and Ethel started with 5 dozen eggs to hide in the henhouse, so I had my students figure out how many eggs that was altogether, which was 60. Then Ethel said that she could fit a dozen in each pocket. How many pockets did Ethel fill? 2 So how many eggs was Ethel hiding? 24 That would leave how many eggs for Lucy to put in her blouse for the tango scene? 36

You can also use: "The Million Dollar Idea" - Here Lucy and Ethel go into business selling Aunt Martha's Old Fashioned Salad Dressing. Lots of adding and multiplying here!

"Oil Wells" - Lots of talk about money.

"Bonus Bucks" - Lucy checks the numbers on all the dollars she can find to win a contest.

"The Business Manager" - Learn how to budget your money.

"Men Are Messy" - Lucy and Ricky cut their apartment in one half.

"Lucy Plays Florence Nightengale" - Count how many people end up following Lucy around the hospital.
