Crazy
Founder of 'The Body Shop', Anita Roddick was credited with this advice;
And remember this: if you ever think you're too small to be effective -- you've never been in bed with a mosquito.
'Flash Mobsters.' It's a new and bizarre phenomenon that's spread rapidly throughout the world. Flash Mob organisers recruit numerous individuals over the Internet. Participants gather inconspicuously at a set time and place and perform a particularly silly stunt. There's no warning for the average passer by that anything's going to happen, and it's over in minutes as the crowd of mobsters quickly disappear without trace. Recently 120 Melburninans donned rubber gloves outside Flinders Street Station and pointed skywards for one minute only to disperse as quickly and as quietly as they appeared; 130 Sydneysiders suddenly started barked at a statue of Queen Victoria's dog; 200 Kiwis mooed like cows in an unsuspecting burger joint. 300 New Yorkarians screamed at the foot of a dinosaur in a toyshop. If actions speak louder than words, I wonder what these people are trying to say. Perhaps it's how easy it is to waste lots of energy on mindlessly ineffective activities.
I believe that we all have an urge to make a difference in the world in which we live, but often don't know where to start. The bible teaches that we need to stand firm in our convictions and not be swayed by the opinion of the 'mob.' Along with a positive attitude and a desire to share God's love, we can all make a difference regardless of how small we may feel in the context of the big picture. Take the first step to being a positive influence to those around you. Don't waste time on the pointless and trivial. Invest yourself in things that make a difference.
Don't let anyone think less of you because you are young. Be an example to all believers in what you teach, in the way you live, in your love, your faith, and your purity.
