Incense(sandalwood) or a candle (white)

Light a stick of incense or a candle go to the southeast corner of your temple and outline with your incense a large circle deosil (clockwise), then quarter it with an equal armed cross top to bottom and left to right. Hold the incense in the center of your circle/cross and say: ISIS BLESS

(or whatever god or goddess you wish to invoke as your guardian, one of my apprentices who is also a Christian says Jesus bless)

As you say the word visualize a rose made of light blooming at the intersection.

With arm outstrecthed, go to the southwest corner next, make the circle/cross and say: ISIS BLESS as before. Repeat the circle cross and words at the northwest, and northeast corners, return to the southeast corner. (You will have walked a large clockwise circle.)Visualize the original circle/cross and move to the center, face each of the four quarters, starting with the east and repeat the circle/cross and words in each direction. When you are back to the East make one above and one below repeating ISIS BLESS as you complete each. You now should have a complete web of circle/crosses surrounding you on all sides.

Visualize these crosses forming a protective network.

Form the Sign of Osiris Slain (arms outstreched to either side, head thrown back feet together)(the cross) and say

YOD NUN RESH YOD

Form the Sign of the Mourning of Isis (right arm raised bent at the elbow, left arm down bent at the elbow, right leg back, head down)(the svastika) and say

VIRGO ISIS MIGHTY MOTHER

Form the sign of Apophis and Typhon (both arms raised in a "V" shape, feet together, head thrown back)(the trident) and say

SCORPIO APOPHIS DESTROYER

Form the Sign of Osiris Risen (arms crossed on your breast, head down, feet together)(the pentagram) and say

SOL OSIRIS SLAIN AND RISEN

Raise arms and say:

ISIS APOPHIS OSIRIS

When arms are fully extended upwards raise your head as though regarding the sun and say:

IAO L.V.X. LUX LIGHT

Fold hands on breast, bow head and say:

THE LIGHT OF THE CROSS

Visualize a stream of light pouring through your body and out to all the crosses, filling the entire space with light. When the place "feels" cleansed say: LET THE LIGHT DESCEND

Visualize the light pouring through you into the Earth and being absorbed. Clap your hands or slap the earth three times to symbolize the end of the rite.
