Catlin’s Medicine Spear

The painting that Catlin did of the shaman’s “medicine-spear or magic wand” appears to have a projectile point that is by my estimate (using the hand as a reference) about 4-5 inches across at the base and 9-12 inches in length.
This would be consistent with the size of some of the projectile points at Jeffers that appear to be unusually large.
