COLD or FLU?

.

It's a cold if . . .
  • SYMPTOMS come slowly.
  • YOUR temperature rises after 24 hours, and you have a low fever - below 100 °F.
  • APPETITE is almost normal.
  • YOU have a slight headache, runny nose and sore throat.
  • YOUR eyes are watery and you have a cough.
  • YOU feel tired.
WHAT YOU CAN DO

GARGLE with salt water several times a day to ease a sore throat. Don't smoke, avoid smoky places and drink lots of fluids. Take 500mg of Vitamin C four times a day and painkillers as necessary (do not exceed maximum dose given on packet). Antibiotics will have no effect
Clear your nasal passages with a shower or a hot steamy bath.
