10 ways to Lose Weight

Shedding 100 lb in a year is easier than you may think. As 3,500 calories of food makes 1 lb of body fat, all you need to do is reduce your daily intake by 500 to lose a pound a week. And if you exercise enough to burn off an extra 500 calories daily, you can lose another pound in weight. Just pick any two of these every day and watch your wobbles melt away.

TO SAVE 500 CALORIES:
- Swap greasy chips (550 cals) for a medium jacket potato (250)and replace thick butter (250) on three slices of bread with a thin layer of low-fat spread (50).
- Replace the 140g pork pie (575) and Mars bar (295) in your lunch box with two slices of cold chicken (200 cals), loads of salad and a medium banana (120).
- At the Chinese restaurant, have boiled rice (300) instead of fried rice (560)with a glass of white wine (100) and not three halves of strong lager (350).
- Use sweeteners instead of six teaspoons of sugar in your tea (120). drink a pint of semi-skimmed milk (260 cals) not full cream (380), and pour a carton of low-fat custard (545) on your pud.
- Replace your morning fry-up of two eggs, bacon, sausage and beans (850) with spaghetti on two slices of toast, grilled tomatoes and watercress (350).
TO BURN OFF 500 CARORIES:
- Skip with a rope for five minutes (50) and dance for an hour and a half (420).
- Walk briskly for half an hour (150) and take a 60 minute aerobics class (350).
- Play table tennis for an hour (200) and spend another half hour swimming (300).
- Run up and down stairs for ten minutes (100) then ride on exercise bike for an hour (400).
- Spend half an hour running on a treadmill at the gym (180), take the dog for a brisk half hour trot and make passionate love for 30 minutes (200).

Well, there you go! Personally, I wouldn't go for anything listed there but would adapt as and where it took my fancy. Currently making passionate love for an hour and a quarter (500) sounds good. I'm looking for feminine female volunteers (laughing out loud at the thought). Axiompc.
