The World in AD 2000The following is a chart compiled in the early to mid 1980's. I thought it might prove interesting to anyone who is into World population figures to compare it with the reality of AD 2000 now it's here. |

The population projections to AD 2000 are based on growth-rate figures for 1980. It is probable, however, that the rate of growth will alter in many countries because of birth-control programmes, more efficient medical care, new sources of food and agricultural mechanisation. I hope that someone finds these figures interesting and does check out the actual figures. |
