Being something of a sceptic, I feel that a lot of the effects claimed may well happen but they are caused psychologically (by suggestion) and not by any definite power of the material or bead. However, if you feel inclined, you are more than welcome to go for it and get your own bracelet or even make up one personally. Some beads are over £50 ($80) EACH.
