Stupid or What?

Here, you will see some comments/instructions/suggestions that appeared on the wrappings or labels or in the instruction manuals of products.

The tag on a 500g pack of Sainsbury's Peanuts read:

"Contains Nuts".

Marks and Spencers bread and butter puddings warned:

"Take care - will be hot when heated".

Iron manufacturers Rowenta actually use:

"Do not iron clothes on body".

A Swedish manufactured chain-saw had this tip:

"Do not try to stop the chain with hands".

Back to Peanuts, an American Airline pack was very patronising with:

"Instructions - Open packet and eat contents".

U.S cars and bikes have wing mirror signs that warn:

"Remember - objects seen in the mirror are behind you".

Spotted on the packaging of a boomerang:

"The manufacturers cannot guarantee this product will return when thrown".

Found on Swimwear made by several Top manufacturers/designers:

"Not for use in water containing SALT (the Sea) or CHLORINE (Swimming Baths)"

A notice on a Graveyard wall it the United States of America pleaded:

"Will the public refrain from putting bodies into this graveyard without permission".

Pleading advert on the rear of a scaffold truck:

"May your next erection be in our safe hands".

US Stupid Instructions award winner on a Toothbrush package:

"Use the Fuzzy end!".

A new kitchen door instructed the buyer:

"Paint only after removal of shrink-wrapping".

On a tag sewn to a folding baby-buggy bought in Scotland:

"Remove baby BEFORE folding".

On a Hot Apple Pie from Morleys, Sydenham, London, UK.

"Take Care, Contents may be HOT".
