The above are key press combinations that, should your mouse decide to go AWOL, allow you to perform the stated functions. They are certainly operational in Word 6 and I've yet to find one that doesn't work in Word 95 and Word 97. Word 2000 I have not got, so cannot guarantee they work there. As an example of how they work, pressing the Alt and Shift and D keys together will insert the Date into your document at the current cursor location.
