Buddy, an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix is in charge of anything he wants to be in charge of.

Uuka is in charge of laughs. There is nothing more fun to watch than a young pygmy goat. He also earns his keep by stomping snakes that wander into his yard.

Holly, aka Computer Cat and

Darby (black) and KC (brown) are All-American puppies. They spent the first two months of their lives growing up in my bathtub, drinking from a bottle. They may be the only puppies to have ever attended an American Federation of Aviculture convention! They were still on the bottle when I went to Denver in 1999. KC has a new home and Darby is learning the "bird business."

Besides keeping the lid on the scanner, Parker is an excellent mouser...on the other hand, Homer thinks a 'mouse' is something to cuddle with during nap time.

About a year ago 3 female guinea pigs came to live at Charlie's. SURPIRSE! They turned out to be TWO females and ONE male and ever since, a whole bunch of little piggie babies! Anybody want a Guinea Pig! They live on the floor of the dove and cockatiel flight...eating up spilled seeds and cleaning up the molted feathers that fall to the floor. They have developed a taste for good tail feathers and any 'tiel or dove lingering too long on the floor is going to be missing a tail feather or two!
