We often receive email asking if we are available for a specific date. Sometimes there is no other information about the move or delivery. Our quick answer is NO, we are not available on any date unless we know what is expected from us. When you ask if we are available on specific dates, we would like to know:
  • about the size of the move (how many bedrooms?),
  • about all locations (CITY, address or major intersection, floor, number of elevators),
  • about all acceptable dates in order of preference,
  • about time-of-day requirements on each of those dates: earliest possible start, latest acceptable finish, start and duration of elevator reservations, etc...
5 ton moving truck with 26 feet long box and power lift. Available on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. With this truck we have moved up to 5 bedroom residences in one trip. You may compare the size of this truck with the largest truck you can rent from U-Haul. UHaul designates their largest truck as 26 feet long along the ceiling of the box, but it is about 2-3 feet shorter along the floor of the box. The box of our truck has the same length along the floor and ceiling.
1 ton cube van with 16 feet long box and walking ramp can move in one trip any 1 bedroom residence and some 2 bedroom residences. If we are moving with this truck a residence with 2 or more bedrooms and it is required to do the move in one trip, we have to preview what you are moving to make sure everything can fit in one load, unless you have already moved same items using a truck of this size or smaller.

$70 1BR moves or smaller, 2 movers with either truck.
$75 2BR moves or larger, 2 movers with 5 ton moving truck.
$60 2 movers without a moving truck ($30/hour for one mover)
We have a 2 hour minimum, after that you can pay by the minute.
Hourly rate includes everything, NO OTHER CHARGES.
Hourly rate applied only from arrival at your first location until work completed, not from/to our office.
You pay for non-stop, fast, efficient and careful work, not for movers on a smoke break.
Flat rate (fixed price) negotiated for moves over ferries and longer distances is all inclusive (includes ferry fees).
