This page is designed to help you set up your Atlas Search Engine. If you haven't yet, signup. Follow the instruction below.
1. Open the page you wish to add the search to in a text editing program
2. Paste the code from the following link into the head of the document. (The head of the document is right below the html tag. For more information click here.
3. Paste the code from the following link into the body (main section) of the document.
4. Save html document.
5. Create a new text document.
6. For each search item, copy the following code into the blank document:
i += 1;
ATN[i] = "Name of Item"
ATU[i] = "URL of Item"
ATS[i] = "Score"
ATD[i] = "Description less than 25 words or less"
ATK[i] = "keywords; all in lowercase; always have 'all' as a keyword"
7. Edit each search item. :
Example: Geocities & Atlas Search are the two search items:
i += 1;
ATN[i] = "Geocities"
ATU[i] = "http://www.oocities.org/"
ATS[i] = "94/100"
ATD[i] = "Free homepage provider (6 megs)"
ATK[i] = "free homepage, 6 megs, webpage , all"
i += 1;
ATN[i] = "Atlas Search Engine"
ATU[i] = "http://www.oocities.org/CapeCanaveral/4294/atlas.html"
ATS[i] = "100/100"
ATD[i] = "Get a free search for your site! Sign-up today"
ATK[i] = "free search, javascript, website tools, all"
8. Save document as: search.js
Upload it to the main directory of your site, which you specified at signup.
