2. Geologic History. Review your CT Plate Tectonic History assignment. More information can be found at: http://g3.tmsc.org/face_of_ct/index.html. Lake Compounce is located at the edge of Connecticut's central rift valley. What happened here?
3. Rocks and Minerals: Review the rock cycle at: http:// www.science.ubc.ca/ ~geol202/ rock_cycle/ rockcycle.html Describe the formation of three of the kinds of rock found in the bedrock here in CT.
4. Water Systems. Read the article on water conservation at: http://www.drought.state.ct.us/well.htm and review your classwork on groundwater and streamflow. How does your use of water affect the watershed in which you live?
5. Glaciation. What products of deposition by glaciers can be found in CT? Describe their formation.
