Easter Egg Enigma

What we know: There is an Easter party and Mr. Richland decides to give all 5 of the little girls at his party a decorated Easter Egg. He picks up his Easter basket and sees that there are 5 eggs in it.

Enigma: How can he give each girl an Easter egg and still leave one egg in the basket?

Solution: He gives one of the girls the basket which has an egg in it.
