Large Popcorn Enigma
What we know:
Sam, Dan and Eric go to the movies and 2 of them want popcorn.
Sam knows the cashier so he gets a free jumbo popcorn but Dan has to pay for his large popcorn. The cashier gives him a hard time by dimming the lights on the menu so he can't see the prices and tells him he must figure out the cost of the popcorn by the clue she gives.
She tells him that the popcorn costs $1 plus half of the cost of the popcorn. Since Dan has no money, Eric pays for it and gets himself a large ice. They then go to see the movie.
Enigma: How much did the popcorn cost?
Solution $2
$1 plus half of the total($2) = $2
