Hobo's Cigar Enigma

What we know: A hobo walks the streets looking for cigar butts. He uses the tobacco in the butts and rerolls it to make a whole cigar. He needs 5 cigar butts to make a whole cigar. One lucky day, he finds 125 cigar butts.

Enigma: How many cigars can he make from these butts?

Solution: 31.

He can make 25 from the first 125 then after he smokes these, he makes 5 from the 25. He then makes one cigar from the 5 he made from the 25.

25 + 5 + 1 = 31
