I have read the interpretation of the Space-Gravity Theory posted on the theory page. And loved it I thought it was very well written and explained the ideas of Einstein well. While reading this interpretation one sentence caught my eye "He said that acceleration and gravity were actually the same phenomenon and that the gravity you feel is actually the force of acceleration acting on you as you move through space-time.". This got me thinking about the relationship of space and time and how that relationship effects gravity. This is what I came up with. Rather than gravity being an effect of space I feel that it is an effect of moving through time using the two separately. Think of space as being pushed forward through time at a constant rate. Any object that has mass is pushed along more slowly than the space surrounding it. This results in a "dent" in the fabric of space in the direction of time. As the object becomes more massive it's movement threw time is further slowed. This explains why very massive objects seem to have the effect of slowing time down around them. In the illustration below the horizontal line represents space and the vertical line represents time. Movement backward along the time line represents a slowing of the movement threw time. Any direction on the space line represents a movement threw three dimensional space.

IF my above theory is true then it also brings up another interesting point. I read some where that Einstein theorized that, as a rocket ship approaches the speed of light, it's mass begins to increase up to infinity. Therefore making it impossible to break the speed of light because the energy required to accelerate the ship up to and beyond light speed was also infinite. According to my theory the mass of the ship is not what increases but that as the ship accelerates to light speed it becomes more difficult for time to push the ship forward at the same rate as the surrounding space. This has the effect of increasing gravity therefore gives the illusion of increasing mass. This also explains why time goes slower for the ships occupants as speed increases. That's my theory in a nut shell. Forgive my rambling and run on sentences but when I have an idea I type too fast too worry about grammar. Any comments are welcome and needed to help expand my thinking on this subject.
