LAWS

These are some of the laws...

Hook’s Law
The extension of a material is proportional to the force which is stretching it. However, there is limit of proportionality which the substance is stretched further than its elastic limit(usually 10%) it will become distorted.

Newton’s first Law
When the forces acting on an object are equal and opposite , they cancel each other out. If the object on which they act is at rest, it will stay at rest; if it is moving , it will move at constant velocity. To be specific, the object will remain its state of rest or motion along straight line with uniform speed unless acted by an unbalanced force.

Newton’s second Law
If an unbalanced force acts on an object, it accelerates in the direction which the force acts. The object’s acceleration is directly proportional to the force, if its mass remains constant.

Newton’s third Law
For every force there is an equal and opposite force called a reaction force. When A acts a force on B, B will act an equal but opposite force back on A, ceteris paribus.

Law of Conservation of Energy = First Law of Thermodynamics
Energy cannot be created or destroyed , it can only change from one form to another.

Second Law of thermodynamics
There exists an additive function state known as the equilibrium entropy S, which can never decrease in a thermally isolated system.

Third Law of thermodynamics
The entropy of all states of all substances must be the same when sufficiently near the temperature of absolute zero (0K=-273.16C)

Laws of reflection
1)The incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal are all in the same plane.

2)The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.

Law of magnetism
Like poles repel, unlike poles attract.

Carnot’s Principle
All reversible 2-part engines working between the same pair of temperatures have the same efficiency and no reversible engine working between the same pair of temperatures can have a greater efficiency.

Focusing Principle
To accelerate a particle with electromagnet, making the locus to bend like a circle but still accelerating.
