Summary of Articles of Association

The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners in Exile is a political and democratic organization formed in 1994. The aim of the founders of the association is to struggle all inhuman rules inside of the prisons, torture and execution carried out by the most barbarous dictatorial regime of the Era-the Islamic Republic of Iran. To struggle all inhuman restrictions and unjust dealings imposed upon the political prisoners, abuses of the right to live in peace, to free expression, to freedom of thought, to legal and human demands. To struggle for:

-freedom of all political prisoners unconditionally.
-nullification of any mental or physical torture in order to inspect political tenets.
-nullification of the death sentence
-prisoners to have the right to defence attorney and open court.
-prisoners to have the right to appeal(to the higher court).
-prisoners to have the right to inform relatives or whosoever detainee determaines his/her detaination immediately.
The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners in Exile supports the suffered and hard-working people of Iran in the struggle against the Islamic Republic of Iran and place a great importance to holding solidarity with the political prisoners and their families. Introducing different methods of policy carried out by the Islamic Republuc of Iran in order to restrict the most preliminary human and civil rights, including the right of existence, freedom of thought, freedom of the press, freedom of expression, etc.
The AIPP supports the local and international ceaseless struggles of the working-class and forging ahead with their proggressive demands including decreasing working-hours, increasing wages and job security to be acheived.
The AIPP is to support former iranian political prisoners, specially those who have been forced to leave Iran and seeking asylum in a safe country, and their families and their families of those who lost their lives for freedom and social justice.
The AIPP is to contact all the local all the local and international progressive organizations for a mutual cooperation and assistance in order to achieve the above-mentioned goals.
The AIPP is firmly supporting by tens of hundreds of iranian political prisoners inside and outside of Iran, which enables the AIPP to play an active role in political affairs concering political prisoners and...
