Urgent appeals The Association of Iranian Political Prisoners is deeply concerned by the continuing of gross human rights violations in the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Regime in Iran has executed Mr.Kazem Mirzaei, son of Adel, an active member of the Kurdish Democratic Party of Iran on June 19th in Orumyeh prison, and Mr.Ahmad Bakhtari, an active member of the Organization of Iranian People's Fedaii Guerillas(Minority) and two other political prisoners in Evin prison in Teheran on June 22nd 1996.
The following people are about to be executed. The Association calls on Amnesty International to put pressure internationally on the Islamic Republic of Iran to commute all pending death sentences and to release immediately and unconditionally all prisoners of conscience, the following political prisoners in particular:
