I won't bore you telling you about myself. The reason for this Home Page is to try to convince you to write you Presedent, congress govenor, local Yocal, etc. ... I'm not lying when I tell you that I've written over 5,000 Letters to the White House, using Dad's Computer (that isn't on the WWW. After I sent my first batch of 2,000 letter off, (at first I sent 500 at one time, then 1,000 one day at a time. But I printed, stuffed, stamped and addressed all 2,000 in one 3 days. I didn't even use envelopes, I printed the letter off one side useing a database for the Adress for the head of the letter, printed them out, then turned them over, used the database to make a form to print the address on the back of the letter in the middle of the page [33 lines down, return address, 3 more lines down and 20 spaces over for the address to send to) I was put on a mailing list. Special interest groups wrote me back, mostly asking for money to help support their cause) that happened 4 years ago, and durring the process I got a form letter from Senator Bob Dole. I thougt this was so neat that I wrote him back with a personal letter asking him to visit the High School in my home town of Cimarron KS. A Month Later I got a personal short letter from him (I think) telling me thanks for writing me about Cimarron, but to be honest He hasn't shown up yet. That one letter from Senator Dole kept me writing letters. I knew most of them were form letters with a stamped signature, but I got a little memorable responces - like when Paul Harvey read my letter over the air, and the post card from the Duke of Norfolk, and the closest I think I'll ever get to Mrs Clinton was a Letter I recieved from Mrs. Alice Pushcar, Director of Corispondince for Mrs.Clinton. I definently did not change the hearts and minds of millions with my letters, I would have liked to, however. I guess the important thing here is that I found something I was interested in, a hobby, perhaps, that would give me something that I could show to others and be pround of. At the time of my first batch, I was unemployed, but working on my letters filled me with a little hope that things aren't that bad. I hope and pray that you - whoever you are, will find the same after reading my story. he White House, using Dad's Computer (that isn't on the WWW. After I sent my first batch of 2,000 letter off, If you have any suggestions for my homepage, I would be gratefull if you could email me.
