If we are to effectively fight anti-gun propaganda and the gun laws they spawn, we must start using many of the tactics that the ANTIs use.

Myself and some other patriots are trying to establish a large group of shooters and patriots that will be able to lobby as effectively as the ANTIs.

We are not trying to create another version of the NRA, SAF, or Gunowners of America. These organizations are fighting the fight in the political arena - under the scrutiny of the liberal media. The liberal media would love some ammunition to use against these fine organizations, so they simply can't chance providing it. As such, they must keep their actions and reputations so 'spotless' as to not provide a single chink in their armor.

What we have done is to learn what type of lobbying worked in Australia and which lobbying was a failure. Australia has a version of our NRA called the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia. What they were able to do was to form an effective lobby group that operated outside of the SSAA and not have the restrictions that such groups have and also not having the time restraints that a large group has dealing with members, legal matters and so on. These people acted at a grassroots level, swiftly and decisively. They learned that the ANTIs played on the emotions of the general public, and on the pocketbooks of businesses. We should learn from their success, and employ our own, similar strategy.

I make absolutely no apologies for adopting many of the tactics that are used by the "genuine" ANTIs.

Note I said "genuine" antis. These are not your tree huggers. They know what they are doing and play it hard. There are basically three types of ANTI's:

• The "Hard-Core One Worlders" : these are people who KNOW that firearms are not the problem they say it is. They know they need to disarm the good Americans in order to implement a one-world government or their own version of 'Utopia' (with them as the leaders, of course). The two may be one in the same to these tyrants. These are the real leaders of the movement.
• The Reasonable "Well, we need SOME Gun Control"ers : These people think that we obviously need some sort of gun control to deal with all the violent crime they're being shown by the liberal mass media. They think that most guns are OK, but we don't "need" certain types of them ("assault weapon", anyone?), and banning those "bad" guns will go a long way towards solving the crime problem. These people are usually the easiest to reach, because (1) they are NOT evil, like the "Hard-Core One Worlders", and (2) they are usually reasonable and capable of thinking objectively on the subject, unlike the "I'm just Scared to Death of Gun"ers.
• The "I'm just Scared to Death of Gun"ers : Like the name says, they're just plain scared of guns. I suppose the reasons being (1) the liberal left media has TOLD them that guns are evil, (2) they are UNFAMILIAR with firearms, and (3) they may have had a bad experience with a firearm (either an accident or by a criminal). These people need some gentle handling to help them recognize that their fears are irrational.

However, you have to give them credit for their success!

Would you be interested in seeing a plan and becoming involved in doing something that if we can pull it off we can start to beat the ANTIs at their own game? There are 'talkers' and there are DO-ers. Talkers like to 'talk', but when they get the opportunity to actually do something, they become quiet. It seems odd to me that a lot of 'talkers' are not willing to make the investment in their freedom, but they ARE WILLING to shoot other people when they feel 'the sh*t has hit the fan' -- or so they SAY. Strange. The 'Do-ers' aren't particularly loud. They're not looking for glory. They just are mature enough to know when a job has got to be done, and have the guts to do it. It takes a special kind of person to stand out from the crowd and actually do something. Which are you?

Basically, we need a big number of shooters and patriots that can be rapidy coordinated at a moments notice. You may wish to be involved in only a small way due to family or business committents and our system will make your contribution (not money) very effective.

If a hundred shooters all fire a 22 rimfire at an elephant at the same time and hit him, then we have a dead elephant. A few 460 Weatherbys fired at the elephant that miss, makes for lots of noise and spectacle, but the elephant walks away with only ringing ears!

The big advantage we have over the ANTIs is sheer weight of numbers and we only need to concentrate on guns.

I know you maybe thinking that it is more than just guns - and it is. There is political correctness, and a whole lot more in the "liberal left" agenda that is driving you mad.

But we have to start somewhere, and we must do it while our rights protected under the first amendment are still strong.

The advantage the ANTIs have is experience and that they are seasoned fighters. They are seasoned fighters because guns are not the only thing on their agenda. Of course, having a wider agenda means they also have more fights to contend with. They also have the liberal media on their side. Until recently, this was a huge advantage. However, with the advent of conservative talk radio, conservative cable television programming, and the growth of the internet, they don't have the tremendous advantage they've been enjoying anymore.
