National Peace Officer's Memorial Day
The South Texas Law Enforcement Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #60 will be preforming on May 15, 1998 in Alice, Orange Grove and Mathis Texas with the Fraternal Order of Police Honor Guard which is compromised of officers from the Jim Wells Co Sheriff's Dept., Alice PD, Orange Grove PD, and Mathis PD. The officer's will be honoring the fallen brothers and sisters of law enforcement who have given the ultimate gift to the community they served. The services will be preformed at the Jim Wells Co Sheriff's Office at 9 am, Orange Grove City Hall at 11 am, and at the Mathis Police Dept. at 3 pm. Services will consist of a Roll Call of Honor, a rememberance to officers, and a twenty-one gun salute.
First Annual FOP Benefit Raffle
The raffle will be held on schedule and the drawing will be on May 9, 1998. Remember all the raffle tickets will be due on May 5, 1998 at Brother David's. Please remember that our goal can only be reached if you do you part. We still have time left to sell.
