From Where It All Began
The Grooming of Antioch Youth Leaders (Part I)
Stage 1 : Genesis
A long time ago, long before they knew the answer to whether the chicken or the egg came first, they came, they saw, but they did not conquer....
At the end of Sec 2 classes, they were confirmed. The Holy Spirit descended upon them, and suddenly they became camera shy, going to a corner and started singing "You are my Hiding Place". So the catechists had to "chiam see" stand in.
Before long, they emerged from their holes. (You can't stay dormant with the Spirit in you). They went forth, to Parthia, Media, and Elam; to Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia; to Pontus and Asia, to Phrygia and Pamphylia, to Egypt and the regions of Libya near Cyrene. Some even went to Rome...... sheesh, what a whole load of crap. Actually, they were merely sent to the different Church Groups in Nativity on attachment program, also known as the Immersion Programme, so as to expose them to the different activities of the groups and promote greater awareness of the happenings within the church. They came back at the end of the year, and presented their findings during the camp.
