A pagan's god breathes when the wind blows,
Speaks when the leaves rustle
Or the thunder bellows
Acts as the cat pouncing on a grasshopper,
Or when one person shows kindness to another.
What end? There are only beginnings.
Be saved from what?
The earth keeps turning with the seasons,
Sparkling frost giving way to golden summer.
