Pranks and Other Fun Dorm Activities

1. ROOM CHANGE- This one involves gaining access to another person's room, and moving
 the entire contents of it to another location on campus.

2. PENNIES- In most dorms, there is enough space between the door and doorjamb, and wall
 to fit about 4 pennies.  Once these are in place, the occupants of the room, will not be
 able to use the door to exit.  Especially fun on upper levels of dorms.

3. FUN WITH ICE TEA- This one might take several people to pull off.  Take a large
 plastic garbage can (usually several in each dorm), and fill it with water.  Then add a
 liberal amount of ice tea mix.  Take the can and lean it against someones door,
 and knock.  

4. I SEE YOU- This is one that has been found to work in my dorm at RPI.  With a little
 effort, you can actually reverse the eye-hole on the doors to rooms.  Stand back and
 watch the show.

5. BLOODY FINGER- This one works if your dorm has showers with troughs.  Take a fake
 severed finger and some red food coloring.  Float them both down the trough, and scream.
  The earlier in the day, the better the result.

6. FUN WITH SHAVING CREAM- Take an "accordian" folder, and fill it with shaving cream.
  Put the open end under someone's door, and jump.  A nice surprise is deposited in the
 person's room.

7. PAPER BALLS- Again you must first gain access to someone's room.  Once in, fill up
 the entire room with crumpled up paper balls.  

8. ALL TIED UP- Make sure that the doors in the dorm open inward.  Take some heavy rope,
 and tie sections of it too every door.  If done properly, no one will be able to leave
 their rooms.

9. MAILING LISTS- Find a mailing list and sign your roomate (or enemy) up.  This also
 now works for email.
