[Hello Markus, haha... I hadn't notice it stopped! [Markus, I have a question! Hubby really doesn't like this craft thing, he acts real strange if I say anything about it, is there a way I can do this stuff without his knowledge?] Sure you can. If you think this will work, do it, but know that it may cause greater conflict if you get "caught" or he somehow finds out you've been "going behind his back." If he is also Catholic, he may have a big problem with it (like most Christians do) [Or a way I could explain it to him so maybe he would feel more comfortable?] A long talk about what your feeling and what he is feeling may be preferable. I don't presume to know anything about your husband or your relationship, but if you guys usually take the open and honest approach, I see no reason to stop now (since it's worked before). Most likely he's thinking "Satan worshipper" "going to hell for sorcery" or other such things. Of course, none of these things have anything to do with Witchcraft, but it is what society has programmed him to think (and if you'll remember, you went through the same fears) It's your turn to help him :) Let me know how it goes. [Which brings me to this question, Can I say the spells quietly? Like the traffic light thing?] Absolutely. The words are only a means of making your intent clear to yourself. They don't have to be verbal at all. It's a training tool for practice at directing your energy for a purpose. [Last night I said something about the beautiful full moon and being a great night for witching.] whoa! umm... *reading on* [He came unglued! I don't know why!] Ok. It's time to take a step back and try to see it from his side. Now, understand, usually I'm of the "no one else's opinion matters" attitude and live by it. But I don't consider my girlfriend (who miz well be my wife:) to be "no one." She is the other me and is excluded from that line of thought. Now think as your husband would. If you wife says "great night for witching" what images would pop into your head? My guess would be old hag, dumping blood of newt and eye of frog into a cauldron, or a black robed woman standing in the middle of the "satanic" pentacle summoning demons, or holding a knife to a young girls throat for a blood sacrifice to Satan. Now, obviously these aren't what you have in mind and have nothing to do with Witchcraft, but how would he know that? Like so many others, he's been lulled by centuries of Christian propaganda and societies BS. Of course he flipped out! He doesn't want his wife to go to Hell or be eaten by a demon or something! You guys need to sit down and have a clarity talk. And in the future, perhaps pay heed to his worries and cares -- it will make things much smoother. [Remember I told you about a girl at work who introduced me to this, well the other day we were joking around about something silly and then I made an eerie sound and wiggled my fingers and she kinda got jumpy and told me not to wiggle my fingers her direction. It was really weird. You think maybe they know something about me I don't know?] I doubt it. Energy is directed with the mind, not with fingers. So either she was joking and did a good job of making it look real, or she's seriously deluded about what makes magick work. :) Probably the first. [Before my husband and I were married, there were times when they phrase came up "I know". To me this meant that he was reading my feelings and knew how I felt, I knew too! Is it an omen, maybe I do know and just need to develop?] :) Often times a telepathic/empathic bond forms between people who spend a lot of time together and have some type of emotional connect (ie significant others) Empathy is something that can be developed, allowing you to feel other people's emotions as well. Perhaps you are empathic :) most people are to some extent (obviously some much more than others) but it is possible for everyone to develop. [Markus, I really feel like I have found something here but, have no one to share with or experiment with or try with! I have this happy gut feeling sometimes and don't know why. I'm excited! What do you think?] *smile* Dear, I think you've found something you feel extremely comfortable with and fits in nicely to fill a "gap" you've felt inside for a long while. As for people to share it with, they are around, you just have to look. But I do suggest that one person you share it with IS your husband... to him this is obviously not a phase, so since it is going to be with you for a long time, he should be comfortable with it.
